The Riverside is an olde worlde venue with a new twist in Branston, Staffordshire.
It is situated on the River Trent just outside Burton on Trent. It hosts a homely, rustic menu to suit any palate. The Riverside is full of character and encompasses pub, dining, hotel and function suite.

All children are welcome. All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots. If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

The charming Riverside Restaurant has a reputation for excellent cuisine, providing an a la carte and fixed price menu for both lunch and dinner, while the Riverside Bar-Lounge serves a more informal 'light bites' option.
The Cappuccino Corner serves a wide range of speciality coffees as well as the quintessential English afternoon tea. The Riverside Christmas season begins 27th November and runs throughout December. At this time festive menus will be available and our a la carte choices will not be.
The Riverside Hotel is located on the southwest side of Burton upon Trent. This is best reached via the A38, which runs between Derby & Birmingham. From Derby: Take the A38 southbound, past the Toyota factory & on to Burton. Do not take the first exit to Burton upon Trent north but continue to the next exit, signposted Burton upon Trent & Branston. Take exit & turn left at the island, then right at the next island. Follow the road over the railway bridge, then take the next right. Take the second left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel. From Birmingham: Take A38 northbound past Lichfield & Barton-Under-Needwood, & turn off at the first exit for Burton upon Trent. Turn right at island, then right again at the next island. Follow the road over the railway bridge, then take the next right. Take the second left into Riverside Drive, which leads to the hotel. From A50 (Links from M6 & Ml): Follow the A50 to Junction 4, signposted Burton upon Trent (You will see a power station on the left hand side), then take the A38 towards Burton. Follow directions as from Derby. From M42: Leave at Junction 11 & join the A444 signposted Burton upon Trent. Keep on this road until it has passed over the River Trent with a Tesco store at the end. At the roundabout, at the end of this bridge, turn left towards Branston. Follow this road for approximately 2 miles, under a small bridge & over a small island. You will see the road rise over a small bridge just as you enter a 30 mph zone. Turn left into Warren Lane, then take a second left into Riverside Drive.
